Tour 10/3/09
“The
Green Buildings Open House is a chance for the public to
tour green buildings throughout New York City. Open House
not only provides a view of the inner workings of several
green buildings, but also gives visitors a chance to meet
the owners, architects and designers who built and operate
them.”

Located in the rapidly evolving neighborhood of South Park
Slope in Brooklyn, the SILHOUETTE Showcase provides the
following opportunities:

Tour the condo units and evaluate the benefits and costs
of owning or building a green home

Take guided and self-guided tours that touch on all the
in-place green elements of the building
The Silhouette’s Second Floor will feature an exhibition of
artwork created from recycled, reused, or found materials
which promote sustainable/eco-friendly living and
consciousness. The exhibition is curated by Tony Orrico and
Vanessa Juriga of
