"The World Through Our Eyes" Exhibition and Benefit

The Silhouette, the only Platinum LEED Certified building in Brooklyn, is collaborating with The Galluccio Group, Prudential Douglas Elliman and The Gulf Restoration Network to raise funds to help restore the Gulf of Mexico, which has been devastated by the BP oil drilling disaster.

From September 16 through September 20, with the assistance of curator Reka Nyari, the Silhouette will act as a gallery for local photographers who are donating all proceeds from the sale of their work to assist in the restoration of the Gulf. The theme for the event, "The World Through Our Eyes," focuses on our ecosystem and environment. Exhibit hours are Thursday, Sept. 16, 6 PM to 9PM; and Friday through Sunday, Sept. 17-19, by appointment only.

"The World Through Our Eyes" exhibition will highlight amazing talent from the NYC community within the Silhouette's unique, eco-friendly living spaces. Funds raised will be donated to The Gulf Restoration Network, which is committed to uniting and empowering people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf Region for future generations.
