Neighborhood
The Silhouette is
located in South Park Slope/Greenwood Heights, a
neighborhood quickly coming of age with some of the
best restaurants, cafes, bars and galleries Brooklyn
has to offer. New, high-end bars and restaurants and
low-key cafes mix with old neighbors on quiet
stretches of 5th and 6th
Avenues; helping to create what residents here have
discovered is a true goldmine of a neighborhood.
Take a Sunday afternoon
to stroll around the neighborhood, stop into a bar
or café for a bite, head up to Prospect Park, a 585
acre urban oasis and home of the nation’s first
Audubon Center, The Prospect Park Zoo and Celebrate
Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, and then head
back to one of the great new restaurants or classic
establishments in the neighborhood. The only way to
get to know Greenwood Heights and see what locals
cherish about this wonderful area is to spend some
time here. Some places to try in no particular
order:
Toby's Public House
Girasol Bakery
Quarter Bar and Cafe
Roots Cafe
